OUR COMMITMENTS
CHAMPAGNE VESSIER AND SUSTAINABLE VITICULTURE
Fully committed to respecting the environment, Franck VESSIER only works with partners who are involved in Agro Ecology on a daily basis, around 3 axes :
• Biodiversity Footprint
• Carbon footprint
• Water Footprint
Our action aims to minimize the pressure of viticultural practices on the environment (air, climate, water, soil, biodiversity, landscapes).
THE BENEFITS OF HIGH ENVIRONMENTAL VALUE AGRICULTURE
For several years now, efforts have been made to obtain High Environmental Value certification.
At the end of the certification process, the mention “High Environmental Value” certifies that our domains or those of our partners :
• Encourage biodiversity in order to offer a complementary network to the crops
• Preserve the life of the soil in order to maintain the life and fertility of the plots
• Develop positive synergies with the natural environment of the crops
• Encourage the development of useful fauna, including precious pollinators
Thanks to these agroecological practices, farms naturally develop a low dependence on inputs, opening up the promising prospects for a more autonomous agriculture with regard to fertilisers, irrigation and treatment products.
The “High Environmental Value” (HVE) logo attests to the environmental excellence of estates that put nature and agronomy back at the centre of agricultural activity.
